Thank you to everyone who contributed to make Donor Fest 2013 a success. We collected 2,032 products over 7 days and we couldn’t have done it without all of you. Whether you donated a pint of blood, unit of platelets or a double red cell, or volunteered your time, you helped us surpass our goal of 1,963 heroes in one week.

Lifeblood donor centers in Bartlett and Germantown are now open from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. on Sundays.

Platelets are small, sticky cells in the blood that control bleeding and are vitally important when treating burn patients, chemotherapy patients, organ transplant recipients and victims of trauma.

Those interested in donating can schedule an appointment at Lifeblood’s donation centers to give platelets. Can we count on you?
